| i sliced a part of my thumb off while working yesterday. blood was, literally, gushing down my arm, all over my clothes, shoes, etc. my mom brought me to the emergency room where we waited for two hours watching a disgusting, trailer-trashy couple make out in the lobby.
as you all know, it is first come, first serve at the e.r. with consideration of those in need of "immediate assistance". there was a man talking on his cell phone the entire time (which is a big "no no" in the e.r.) to another party about how it was "bullshit" that he should have to wait this long because he was obviously in need of more immediate assistance than others around him. he was called before me, to which he replied "FINALLY!" i was called after him, with blood oozing down my arm.
my laceration required three stitches.
i work tonight.
i am scared to even look at that knife.

| I GOT AN APARTMENT!!!
it is brand-spanking new, close to school, the liquor store, the bars, and nightclubs...
the only downer is that it is in the mind-numbingly boring (until i turn 21) town of grand forks.
to end on a brighter note, we have a leather couch and loveseat! (very classy beige)
